BNP has a bad day

April 5, 2007

Last weeks Spenborough Guardian letter page was a particularly bad one for the feeble minded BNP.

It seems not a week goes by without dimwit Colin Auty “cocking up”

This time he comes in for criticism from Harvey Mawston,Conservative candidate for Cleckheaton.

Harvey is a Tory Blue through and through, but he can’t stand the BNP.

Harvey writes

” While I take on board comments made about me by an area BNP councillor in last weeks Guardian with some humour, especially the jibe “serve and not look at them from my ivory tower miles away”

I had to just sit back and contemplate, could this be the same local BNP councillor elected to serve in the ward where my wife and I live and has yet after invitations still not shown his faceat our residents and tenants association meetings some 10 months after being elected?

So much for his “I serve the people“.

I wonder how we can get you out of your ivory tower councillor?

Kirklees Unity says Well Done Harvey

This on the same letter page where deselected BNP candidate Peter Horsfield openly advocates Lib Dem councillor Andrew Pinnock.

Seems Peter Horsfield has an axe to grind.

Talking of deselected candidates we notice several regular candidates have dissappeared from their list of candidates.

Convicted Drug dealer Richard Brown has gone.

So has shopkeepers Russell Scott and Nicola King.

Dimwit Colin Autys wife Susan has jumped ship. What a double act they would have made.

And most notable is Jillian Exley, wife of BNP councillor David Exley.

Maybe Andy Kershaw could shed some light on that one????

Convicted liar & cheat to defend seat

April 5, 2007

FAR-RIGHT councillor Richard Mulhall – described by a judge as a liar and a cheat – will defend his seat on Calderdale Council at the elections on May 3.

He has represented Mixenden and Illingworth since 2003 and is one of 77 candidates who have put their names into the ring, including 13 for the British National Party.

Councillor Mulhall was convicted in October on four counts of cheating taxpayers by claiming £3,000 in housing benefit, council tax benefit and jobseeker’s allowance he was not entitled to.

At Teeside Crown Court he was ordered to serve 200 hours of unpaid work in the community.
